This is the root page for QualiNet mockups at Antikoan.com. Note that as of this time/date, there are no graphics, so you should fill in whatever your mind imagines wherever you see the text "[logo]".

Most mockups are stricly styles-based; where indicated, they may also entail substitution of formatting code.

All mockups share the following characteristics:

• A combination of tables-based layouts and stylesheet-driven formatting.
• Formatted text containers in place of graphics, to speek transfer and rendering.
• Semantic elements are used wherever feasible, to improve accessibility. For example, all secondary menus are generated as definition-lists.

The following mockups have been prepared:

No Styles

This variant simply eliminates the stylesheet, to illustrate illustrates the worst-case display degradation. Note that all navigation remains usable and layout remains intact.

Baseline

This variant uses a right-hand menu, with few lines to delimit the content blocks, and is dominated by shades of yellow.

Left-Menu, Earth-tones

This variant uses an alternate layout library to shift the secondary navigation area to the left side, keeping the general proportions the same, and an alternate stylesheet to change colors, fonts, borders, and the sizing of content blocks. This variant will display cleanly at 640x480px display resolution.

Left-Menu, Yellows and Browns

The same as above, using a yellow color scheme.

Left-Menu, Yellows and Browns, widened

The same as above, with the main content block widened to a size optimal for 800x600px display resolution.
